Lux is owned and operated by Kait James. Kait is a licensed esthetician, as well as an Indiana University graduate with a degree in psychology and a Kelley School graduate with an MBA in Business Healthcare Management. Kait takes a very hands-on approach to her business and is a main provider for all medical grade and cosmetic tattooing services. Kait’s goal with Lux is to offer state of the art, aggressive treatments in a boutique environment to capitalize on the customer’s experience and results

Kait has a passion for guiding others in the beauty industry and acting as a career coach and mentor for young professionals. Kait offers individual trainings on various services in the beauty industry to train students on the specific art of service, as well as the business foundations needed to excel. Training others has truly become a passion, as she seeks to be the mentor she needed when starting within the industry, building a tribe of like-minded supportive boss babes!
